Dr Selly Ba is a human rights activist and holds a doctorate in sociology from Cheikh Anta Diop University. She is a specialist in gender issues related to religion, security and migration in Senegal and the author of several articles and collective publications. She is currently a programme officer at the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
