On the 3rd – 4th of August 2009, HBS hosted ‘Climate Change, Resources, Migration: Old and New Sources of Conflict in Africa?’ a conference which aimed to take stock of the current state of Africa’s security architecture and analysed the present and anticipated influence of climate change, resource management and migration on Africa’s security. The event brought together political, academic, and civil society representatives from the continent, as well as beyond, for deliberation.
