Planact hosted Heinrich Böll Stiftung (HBF) for a monitoring visit that involved meeting with the two communities and site visits of the communities. The team visited both KwaZenzele and Masakhane in October 2017 where the Accounting for Basic Services projects is taking place.
The aim of the visit was to understand the issues that will be monitored for the budget expenditure monitoring exercise.
The visit was also a meet and greet for the different community leadership groups and to get on-the-ground understanding and feeling of the two communities. This project is funded by the European Union.
